N2 - The present research will apply the Statgraphics Centurion Software Program and Hexagonal Design Planning to analyze the incidence and effect of the following parameters: voltage and welding speed that determine the shape of the bead and welding hardness that are inherent in the GMAW-MIG process, therefore the control of each of them is crucial to optimize the result of the welding in the manufacturing or ASTM A36 recovery equipment parts. Then the main objective of the present study is to contribute with specific statistical models through different applications of the weld bead, such as penetration, recharge, bead width, and hardness, improving productivity.
