N2 - The exploration of working environments within educational settings has recently surged in significance, becoming paramount in the accreditation procedures centered on educational quality. Within this domain, organizational and management psychology bridge the gap between the professional milieu and broader institutional evolution. This study's primary aim is to discern the levels of job satisfaction and organizational dedication among undergraduate university educators and to probe any potential associations between these two factors. This investigation adopts a quantitative stance, with a descriptive-correlational, non-experimental, and cross-sectional framework. Data was garnered through the Multidimensional Scale of Teacher Job Satisfaction (EMSLD) as proposed by Barraza and Ortega (2009), in tandem with the Organizational Climate (OC) tool as presented by Barraza (2008). The SPSS statistical software (version 21.0) was employed to gauge the reliability of these tools, yielding Cronbach's Alpha coefficients of .89 and .91 for job satisfaction and organizational dedication respectively. The research involved 180 part-time assistant professors from three universities (one public and two private) situated in Arequipa. Notably, the findings indicate that correlations between job contentment and organizational loyalty can swing positive or negative based on the institution's legal structure and governance approach.
