Factors influencing extroversion and introversion mediated by cyberbullying in male and female high school students

Abstract

The main purpose of this research is to determine the influential factors such as masculinity and femininity and family dysfunction in introversion and extroversion, mediated by cyberbullying. The methodology used for the study corresponds to a non-experimental research, a questionnaire was applied to a convenience sample of 205 high school students in a multigroup analysis (n=23; α=.971 ω=.971), using as tests of validity and reliability, the Exploratory and Confirmatory Factor Analysis, through the Modeling of Structural Equations of Partial Least Squares PLS-SEM. The results have shown that cyberbullying is increasingly present within the school educational environment, and that the majority of students are linked to the use of technology and social networks as means of communication and socialization, however, it is imperative to take into account First, the consequences of these changes in the classical educational model, identifying and investigating the related factors, therefore, children who are victims of cyberbullying are very likely to suffer damage to their mental and physical health, psychosomatic symptoms, antisocial behavior and even suicidal ideation.
