N2 - The confinement caused by the Covid-19 pandemic forced the implementation of synchronous virtual teaching situations, thus the need for a method to teach how to use software arises. In this article, a method is proposed, considering the learning styles of the students, how to carry out this process in a structured way, and considering the different moments of a class session. The way in which instruction should be approached based on learning styles is detailed. Twelve sections and three hundred and three students participated; in eighteen courses that instruct in the use of software. The results show that when applying the method in four levels of studies, the educational objectives were achieved, and that 80% of the students of each learning style achieve a level of achievement equal to or greater than “good” while less than 3% they performed poorly.
