N2 - The main purpose of this research is to determine the influential factors in the development of communication skills through the podcast, such as technological and reflective skills, through the idea that the use of the podcast implies in educational strategies, recognizing its advantages and benefits. The methodology used for the study corresponds to a non experimental investigation, a questionnaire was applied to a convenience sample of 330 university students (n=49; α=.978 ω=.978), using as tests of validity and reliability, the Exploratory and Confirmatory Factor Analysis, through the Modeling of Structural Equations of Partial Least Squares PLS-SEM. The results have shown that there are different causal relationships between the factors studied, such as technological and reflective skills, would positively influence the skills in communication mediated by the podcast; In the same way, the idea that students have about educational strategies and technological skills, they think that through podcasting this relationship would exist.
