Analysis of Institutional Policies on the Use of Chat GPT in Peruvian Universities

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the institutional policies established in the intellectual property regulations of universities regarding the use of artificial intelligence in academic work. The study adopts a qualitative descriptive approach and is of a documentary type. The technique of document analysis and the selected instrument for data collection is the documentary analysis matrix. The results revealed that, up to the present moment, higher education institutions have not established any intellectual property regulations or a code of ethics to govern the use of artificial intelligence in academic production.
